SPECIFICATION: The
snares are manufactured with steel cables, stainless steel
rods and solid aluminum T-handles. The round aluminum handle
is 3 3/4" in length by 5/8" diameter on both
snares. The #25841 has a 5/32" diameter by 20 ½"
length exposed cable and a 28" length shaft. The #25842
is equipped with a 3/32" by 15" length exposed
cable and a 17 ¼" shaft.
OBJECTIVE: To aid in
the dystopia (abnormal position) of a fetus within the womb.
When using a snare you can prevent a difficult delivery (dystocia),
possibly save the neonatal from mortality or morbidity, and
recover a healthy dam and /or fetus.
APPLICATION: Place the snare around
the animal’s nose or leg and pull on the snare handle to
secure a proper placement of the fetus before or during
parturition (birth). Use caution and do not apply excessive
pressure or damage could occur. If repositioning can not be
accomplished a veterinarian should be consulted for
assistance. |
